Honningstad - our gateway to the North Cape





North Cape, Norway - Northernmost point of the European continent.
Children of the World Monument at the North Cape.  They were designed by 7 children from various parts of the world to symbolize collaboration, friendship, hope and happiness across all borders.

Nothing but beautiful vistas of snow - peace and quiet - I absolutely loved it!

 Anne with a native Sami in Norway.  The Sami people are indigenous to northern Norway, Sweden, Finland, and northern Russia and are traditionally reindeer herders.   They have historically been known as Lapps or Laplanders but the terms are considered derogatory now.
